Since I held my first gig in 2016, I have had an interest in live music and events. 

I worked part-time alongside my degree at Birmingham Promoters as a live production rep, where I stage managed live concerts, liaising with bands, managers, sound engineers, venues, the promoter and attendees. This is something I have continued to do for other promoters in Manchester & Sheffield.

My previous role at The Milestone Group as Events & Marketing Assistant has pushed me more in terms of my event organisation and planning. It is here that I have planned workshops such as dog life drawing, calligraphy workshops, candle making. Here, I have also helped orchestrate 'weekenders' such as St Patrick's Day, Mother's Day and Halloween, ensuring we have a weekend of offers, entertainment and decorations that compliment these.

It is here that I have also been able to combine my two professions and at one of our venues we held our very first Sofar Sounds event.
